All Australian Businesses need to innovate, especially in uncertain times, if they are to remain strong, grounded and operating long-term. That's what we try to do here at BDM/Campers Choice. 

We trial new products on a monthly basis within our manufacturing capability, we talk to a variety of people from different industries and actually listen to feedback provided. This helps us to then proceed to the next stage which is seeing what the market will accept and ensuring its marketable with the expectations met. 

Generally we start with a small production run to ensure processes are ok and that the end product is perfect. (and if it isn't correct we ensure its rectified early) 

Part of innovation is also revisiting existing products and seeing how they can be improved while still meeting customer expectations while keeping the product financially viable.

 Innovation also costs a business time and money from general work and production constraints so this needs to be managed very closely. 

At BDM/ Campers Choice we love to innovate and this is due to our love of industrial textiles and seeing our gear actually being used for what it was designed for. Our staff also contribute greatly to innovation with various skillsets and experience in the industry.

Don't be afraid to ask if we have selected items on the innovation list. Some things may have been trialed and explored and pulled from the list but don't let that stop you asking the question.
